Jazzy Jamboree is committed to protecting the privacy of all personal data collected from our customers. Our aim is to provide an exceptional customer service whilst safeguarding the security and privacy of all our customers.

This Privacy Policy explains Jazzy Jamboree’s information practices and the choices you can make regarding the information we collect and how we use it.

What information will we collect?

Visitors to our website will have certain information collected through the use of Cookies and Analytics programs to help us deliver the best possible browsing experience.  This includes :

  • How you found our website
  • Pages visited on our site and the duration of your stay

Customers of Jazzy Jamboree will need to provide the following information to allow you to attend our classes :

  • Name
  • Address
  • Contact Information
  • Child’s Name
  • Child’s DOB

We DO NOT collect any financial information about our customers either through the website or in written records.

How will your information be used?

Information collected about our website users will be used to update and enhance our website to provide the best possible experience for our customers across all platforms and devices.  None of the information collected is personally identifiable.

Information collected from customers will be used to confirm your place in the requested classes.  We will also use this information to track the number of people in each class and to contact you should class times or locations need to be changed.

When will we use your information?

Information collected about our website users will only be accessed and reviewed when we make updates to our website.

Information collected from customers will only be used for the period of time that you visit Jazzy Jamboree for record keeping purposes.

The period for which we will keep your information

Website usage data will be deleted after 3 years.

Certain customer data – such as invoices – will be kept for 7 years in accordance with Accounting and HMRC guidelines for tax and accountancy purposes.  Data relating to your child and the classes you have attended will be deleted at the end of each year. 

Will we share your information?

We promise we will NEVER share your details with anyone else.

How will we keep your data safe

Information collected about our website users is stored in the back-end of the website on a secure server with the latest encryption and security technologies.  Only the web designer and business owner have access to this server.

Customer data is stored on computers and in diaries.  All computers have the latest operating system security updates installed and up to date anti-virus software installed.  Computers are password protected.  All paper based records are stored securely in our office.  Information that must be kept (eg. invoices) are archived.  Information that is not kept (eg. diaries) are destroyed.  We may also contact customers by mobile phone.  All mobile phones are password protected and have security updates and software installed.  Any data stored on a mobile phone will be deleted as soon as you leave Jazzy Jamboree.

Your rights and choices

Under the new GDPR Regulations (May 2018) individuals have the right to request the following :

  • To see what information a business stores about them
  • To make updates / amendments to this information if it is incorrect
  • To request that part of the information stored is deleted
  • To request that all the information stored is deleted

If you would like to request any of the above please visit our ‘GDPR Right of Access‘ page where you can complete a simple online form.  We will reply to all requests within 48 hours but it may take upto 5 working days to access and collate your information.
